After my previous debt counsellor one sidedly decided to close his practise and not completing my debt review process, I had to find another DC. I was referred to Karen Coetzee (NCRDC891) at Debt Resolve and what a surprise. She renegotiated with all my creditors, fought with them to place me and my husband back under debt review. During the whole process, my husband passed away and she kept on fighting with SA Home Loans who insisted that I had to sell my house to round up the Estate of my late husband. After she successfully managed to get an order granted in the Magistrates Court, SA Home Loans appealed the Magistrate’s ruling to the High Court. She kept on fighting to protect me and my house and again was successful in the High Court. Debt Resolve really does go the extra mile and definitely will never go down without a fight. I was tired of all the phone calls and lawyers letters. It felt as if I was in a deep dark hole with someone just throwing more and more sand to bury me. Then there was this light that stopped all of this…Karen and her team was the light at the end of my dark hole. She handled the process with efficiency and professionalism. The phone calls stopped, the lawyer letters stopped and all of a sudden I was feeling better. I can now manage to pay back my debt and live my life without having to worry about “that knock” on the door. It’s been 2 years now and I am soon heading towards the end of my debt review process.
